We will examine biases and explore various approaches to uncover unconscious biases that may limit our view of hiring, retention, and the workplace in general. This 1-hour training is designed to be interactive and create a safe space for working through case studies, as well as sharing your experience with biases in small and large group discussions.  

Objectives:

• ·         Define common biases that show up in hiring and retention programs.
• ·         Recognize the origin biases and impact of them in hiring and retention.
• ·         Discuss how biases are experienced in the workplace, particularly in hiring and retention.
• ·         Identify practical ways of mitigating biases in hiring and retention.
